My dear brother-in-law Grahame. A genuine , kind hearted , beautiful soul who has gone to meet our loved ones.

I remember being invited to meet your newest addition to the family. It was truly amazing, your love birds had produced a baby!

[My Big Cuz] Shocked you suddenly passed!

So many fond memories growing up! You were always so nice to me. Looking back when i stayed at yours you never cared about letting this scuffy little 13 year old loose on your music collection & on your new cool 70s music center aswell, that was so good i loved it! You never once moaned when i put the wrong records in the wrong album sleeves either plus the amount of times i hijacked your CB Radio all night to lol. I didnt realise at the time but you were like an older brother to me! Your kind & gentle unassuming ways were so cool & inspired me in so many ways & for that i can never thankyou enough! RIP Cuz

#MISSED #BLUEARMY!

To Grahame

The sweetest, kindest soul, I can’t believe you’re gone.

- I’m so blessed to have known you and my girls too, you always shone

- Never too busy to listen or care, you shaped their young lives, being unaware!

- With the kindest heart and your funny musings, naming Hayzefantaze and Sum Sums your choosing!

- With a smile and a cheer Play up Pompey! & Jingo to all your friends, Ruby at your feet a more loyal dog I’ve yet to meet!

- Our time though brief was filled with fun and joy, with holidays and day trips & Ted too brought joy!

- So shine on my friend in all your glory now in Karen’s arms, hope hold you tight - in the darkness of the night xx — feeling heartbroken

From Amy

Can’t believe you’ve been stolen from us uncle Jingo, way too soon. Such a kind and caring gentleman. Wherever you are, I hope you’re sharing a Rioja with dad and having cuddles with Karen. Love you xxx xxx

From Carl

You were the friendliest, kindest and most genuine person - and I am proud to have been your nephew. You've gone away now, but I know your destination; you go to Karen, Granny, Granddad and my dad, to a place where those already departed and who love you await with open arms.

Rest peacefully Uncle x

From Natalie

Words can not describe the shock and sadness that so many are feeling today! You were cruelly taken from us yesterday but fought like the true hero that you are!

Reunited with your wife and brother, and now the brightest star in the sky.

RIP uncle  Grahame Desmond Robinson

From Matthew

I have a childhood memory of going to see Pompey one Christmas with Grahame, uncle Alan and my Dad. It was a very cold, brutally chilling day  and I was wrapped up in coat, hat,   scarf and gloves.  Grahame was  wearing a short sleeved Pompey shirt !  I will miss you, want to thank you for the memories and hope you rest in peace.

From Adam

I have some great memories of you from when we were kids, our young Uncle, who actually wasn’t really that much younger than our Mum or Uncle Alan but somehow it just seemed that way, I think that’s why we were all so fond of you. Walking Samson and Rocky along the sea front, going to watch Pompey play as kids then you taking us for beer and pool in your local as we got older.
You were a lovely guy Uncle Jingo and it was great to have known you mate.
Rest easy
Adam

From Charlotte

Just a few of my fave of us all, still a bit on shock you’re gone Grah Grah, you were the nicest, most loving kind man ever, with the biggest heart

From Auntie Dorrie

"you were always caring and would ask how I was doing. We had some fun parties together. I always enjoyed your company and Uncle George was very fond of you. I'm sure he'll be ready to have a drink with you Grahame. God Bless, Auntie Dorrie xx"

From Cousin Helen

"our times together weren't very many but they were good, family get together times...   I think I was probably the little, irritating girl cousin, ha! I've always enjoyed your company when we did meet up. I've only ever known you to be kind and caring. Rest easy now Grahame, love Helen xx"

From Cousin Gary

We met up many different times as we grew up, you would always ask how Uncle George & Auntie Dorrie were, one of the few who used their full names, but this was typical of you always polite & respectful.
Can remember you teaching me how to play chess one night round at yours when the family had a get together, years later our love of football brought us together again  I signed to  play for The Stamshaw, where we would spend some very lively Sunday dinner times
We’d both followed Pompey since the 70s our Dads taking us at different times, just took the one visit too Fratton & we had the bug
Then a chance meeting at Highbury (Arsenal) one Saturday afternoon, we spent all the 2nd half putting the world of football right, it needed something Pompey where crap
You rest now cuz thanks for the memories

Gary xx"

From Brother in Law Pete

I will always remember your interest in politics and what was going on in the world.  I will miss our friendly discussions on Brexit, Trump, Boris and the various ills of the world.   I also remember when you got tickets and took me to a Pompey match.  We were not in your usual spot in the Fratton end.  Pompey scored, you punched the air in celebration, the only problem was you actually punched the concrete above and skinned all your knuckles.  You didnt care because Pompey got the win.  They have lost a true fan.

From Ken

RIP was a pleasure to know you, Heaven now has a new Senior Convener
